Lily Kennard is a multidisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles, California. Originally from Des Moines, Iowa, she holds a Bachelor's degree in Art and Psychology with a minor in education from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Recently, she earned her Master of Fine Arts degree from the California Institute of the Arts.

 

While Kennard's primary focus lies in painting, her artistic exploration extends across multiple mediums into performance as well as ceramics.

 

She finds joy in portraying the delicate and fragile, capturing the essence of vulnerability in subjects ranging from porcelain figurines to intimate family settings. Fascinated by themes of deconstruction, reclamation, and reimagining she enjoys working with multiple mediums to expand these narratives.
